Being Me

Being Me is a series of Virtual Reality films to 'help adoptive parents to understand the traumatic past of their children'. Through the immersive power of VR, the viewer is taken through a series of scenarios to help them understand how 'trauma & abuse affects the children & how to respond in ways that help them recover'. The sound design incorporated the use of ambisonic recordings and post production workflows. My goal was to combine the ambisonic recordings with radio microphones and sound effects to create a consistent 360 °  aural space that would immerse the viewer in the world of the child.
